Baehrs Solicitors purchased our files system to begin with, to improve their general efficiency and help with the compliance requirements for the Law Society's Lexcel quality scheme.  This was quickly followed with the purchase of reports & later accounts, to replace the ongoing cost of a bureau service.

In response to questions about our software, principal Eric Baehr enthused "the software generally is very user-friendly and adaptable.  In particular the time recording feature is excellent.  I particularly like the fact that it's easy to add our own precedents and that the updates are quick and easy to install.  The speed of use has also improved considerably since the software was first installed".

Mr Baehr continued "Because the software is so user-friendly, it actually gets used by everyone in the firm, including temporary staff.  SC@MS has improved our efficiency considerably and keeps getting better".

Of our service, Mr Baehr remarked "The telephone support is particularly impressive. There are no long waits to be put through, telephone messages are answered promptly, advice is given in plain English - not technical jargon and they combine courtesy with efficiency".

He continued "The customer support is the best I have experienced from any supplier in over 30 years as a solicitor".

Secretary Geraldine Cole remarked "The system is very straightforward, particularly when training a new secretary to use the software. It can be easily picked up."

Mrs Cole continued "The updates are extremely useful and advantages can be seen straight away. The facility for adding new features is very user-friendly."

Secretary Sylvia Benson also enthused "I have been a legal secretary for over 20 years and I have never come across anything like this."

She continued "It's amazing. I have used legal software in the past, including a well-known system in my last firm, but there is no comparison. SC@MS is so logical, very quick and very, very easy!" 

Legal Cashier, Christine Baehr was equally as enthusiastic when commenting on both the front & back office software. "I find both systems very user-friendly" she enthused. "I like the way they prompt and remind you of the next steps."

She continued "The back-up is excellent, and I find the remote help facility particularly useful.  I also like the way that one's comments are taken on board and considered and that SC@MS always comes back quickly if not able to give an answer straight away. Where there are issues that could be clearer or improved they are dealt with quickly and helpfully, and I like the way that the programs are frequently upgraded." 

When asked what we could do better & how, Mr Baehr replied "Nothing.  There is no room for improvement, just please maintain your existing very high standards".
