New Code of Conduct
Are you ready for the new Code of Conduct?  We are!

The Solicitors’ Code of Conduct 2007 comes into force on 01 July 2007.

Whilst the new Code encompasses many of the old rules of professional conduct, there are some new provisions. For example, those in charge “must make arrangements for the effective management [of your practice]” and “must ensure that your firm has in place a system for supervising clients' matters” (Rule 5).

Our software contains many features to help you comply with the new Code.  Click here for our Guide, which summarises both what practices need to do to comply with the new Rules & how our software will help you to do this.

Please note that we have paraphrased the Rules & guidance where we think it appropriate and highlighted relevant parts where applicable. For a full understanding, there is no substitute for reading the Code of Conduct in its entirety. For the full Code & guidance for each Rule, see New Code of Conduct.
